In an effort to try new things, I am now working with glass and am always looking for new places to shop at.
So here are my finds in So.Cal. I haven't visited them all, so I can't vouch for all of them, but I just like knowing they're out there in case I'm travelling in that neighborhood I can pop in.

...a merry little Christmas. Here's hoping the crafting elves brought you all that you wanted. Otherwise, you can always go shopping tomorrow.
Merry Christmas.
I think music is truly amazing. I was sitting at work the other day with the radio playing in the background to drown out the sounds of the guys hammering on equipment in the back, and this song comes on. I’m sure I’ve heard it a million times, but today it just struck a cord with me. I remember being, like 12, and the sweetest thing being said to me. I remember my childhood bedroom. It what I would now consider kinda trailer, but at the time it was the best thing in the world and you didn’t know any different.
I was in grade 7 and my boyfriend was in grade 8 and it was May, because the grade eights were gone on their annual trip to Toronto. And god, it seemed like forever that he was gone, but it was only a week and he called me the minute he got back. He told me he got me something while there and that he couldn’t stop thinking about me, and that when he heard that Phil Collins song come on the radio, he just wanted to come home to me. I was very touched by this, because he wasn’t exactly the soft rock kinda guy. He would most likely be found listening to Black Sabbath or Iron Maiden.

I remember searching out the Lindros hockey card in 1992 when he was drafted. His career seemed so short, but now here he is retiring. With a career filled with concussions, Lindros leaves the world of hockey by what is beleived to be the single most one-time donation by an athlete, $5 million to the London Health Sciences Foundation.

Ok, now the politically correct world is totally messed up. Banning season's one and two of Sesame Street, saying that it's only really suited for adult audiences? To say that is a bit extreme. The people who watched this show, and others like it are the movers and shakers of a generation. I can only wonder what kind of kids will come out of our homogenized view of today.
